Our Pre-School and Nursery programs are innovative, creative, fun-filled, active and comprehensive. The specific classroom activities for our child will depend on the age group.

Objective and Curriculum

Early childhood education means more than just a place for your child to be amused and cared for. Although having fun is the source from which we attract—all of us at Wee Kids are working towards several goals.

First and foremost, a child needs to grow in his independence to feel secure enough to search for his or her own answers and take pride in whatever results they achieve. Your child must gain a healthy concept about themselves and the people your child comes in contact with. This means developing self-control in every endeavor. A child must also learn to give and share affection as well as receive it. These ideals formulate their future relationships with others and are fundamental to their growth as a worthy person. Your child will then be able to secure his or her own position in the world.

A child needs to experience adequate achievement. No matter how small the apparent feat, it must be heartily encouraged. In this way, a child understands that what he or she is doing is valued. To understand and control his or her personal and physical world is important to a child also. Limits will be set first by adults, and later, by the children themselves as they mature. Only his/her perseverance and moral judgment will eventually determine what he/she can and cannot do. We want every child to experience firsthand the many wonders of this world and feel free to choose his or her direction.

Communication is also a key goal here at Wee Kids. Another key goal is to fill you child’s bucket of self-esteem until it overflows. Children always understand more worlds than those they express. The child who adequately communicates his thoughts, ideas and feelings is less frustrated and is a much more contented person.

Our Director is Jill Roberts. Jill has a degree in psychology from Seton Hall Univ. with a concentration in the field of Child Psychology. Jill has been working with children in a childcare setting since 1996 and bring 5 years of experience as a Residential Therapist at The Children's Home of Mount Holly. She is also a mother of three children.

Our Owners are David and Lynne Goldstein. They have lived in the area for 14 years now. David and Lynne understand what it means to be parents; they have three children of their own. There is Catie, who is 11 years old, Dana is 8; and Andrew, the youngest is now 5. Dave and Lynne also bring with them 7 years experience with youth sports programs and the knowledge that a child’s early years are the most important. Both are committed to providing a quality learning environment for children and a comfortable one for you as well, in a state-of-the-art facility.
